          Hazardous waste is essentially waste that has hazardous properties. Examples include:
	asbestos
	waste oils (such as engine, hydraulic and fuel oil)
	lead–acid batteries
	fluorescent light tubes
	solvents and solvent-based paints, and
	contaminated soils.
