Whole life carbon assessment FAQs
This section provides answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) relating to RICS' Whole life carbon assessment for the built environment. Whole life carbon assessment (WLCA) facilitates carbon measurement throughout the life cycle of built assets, from material production, design and construction to end of life.
WLCAs follow a modular structure that breaks down the life cycle of a built asset into modules, as described in Figure 1, and submodules.
