Rosi Fieldson has over 25 years' experience in the construction sector. She initially qualified as an architect, then specialised in sustainability after completing a PhD. Since 2006 Rosi has been initiating and developing sustainable specifications and undertaking whole life carbon assessments for commercial development. She is currently a BREEAM assessor and sustainability consultant at Tetra Tech.
Having provided sustainability direction and environmental management aligned with ISO14001 for a construction company for ten years, Rosi is passionate about environmental protection and the circular economy.
Rosi has supported the delivery of FSC certified projects and frameworks for major UK retail clients. She has contributed to consultations for the UK Green Building Council’s whole life carbon assessment methodology, Future Homes Hub Carbon Assessment Tool, and is keen to make 'measuring to manage' practical and robust for both contractors and clients.
Rosi is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), having taught professional practice in architecture at the University of Lincoln for over six years. She has served as the local chair for Lincolnshire Society of Architects and regularly contributes to RIBA education policy and dissemination through liaison with schools of architecture across the UK.
She has also supervised Knowledge Transfer Partnerships both as an academic and industrial partner and continues to explore the boundaries of sustainable built environment theory and future practice through research and academic publication.
