This publication is intended as a guide for surveyors who carry out reinstatement cost assessments of buildings.
The guidance note provides detailed recommendations on: the manner in which assessments should be approached; the nature and extent of the information to be collated;
the manner in which this information should be processed; and how the assessment should be calculated and submitted.
The 3rd edition takes effect from 1 June 2018.
