Biography

Liam Proudlock has worked for Proudlock Associates since 2008. Liam is highly qualified in inclusive design, gaining BSc (Hons) MSc Construction Management (Inclusive Environments), from the University of Reading, 2004.

Liam is a member of

  • The Centre for Accessible Environments;
  • The Access Association (London Regional Representative on the National Council); and
  • The National Register of Access Consultants.

Before joining Proudlock Associates, Liam worked at Capita Symonds on contract to the BBC. He worked for 15 years at the BBC in total, reviewing the BBC’s Access Standards and providing inclusive design guidance for multi-million pound new-build developments such as White City (London), Salford Quays (Manchester) and Pacific Quays (Glasgow).

Liam also provides services for international design teams on sustainability through inclusive design, shared surfaces, Lifetime Homes and Wheelchair Housing. He has many years' experience supporting developers with planning applications and section 106 agreements.
