Contract administration case law
Given the contractual basis, to which must be added the possibility of duties of care in tort, it is not surprising that contract administration has generated a large and important body of case law. It is important that this should be understood by contractors who have to deal with them, by clients who depend on them and, above all, by the contract administrators themselves.
This section covers, among other things, project management, the contract administrator’s duties both contractual and tortious, and the limitations and duration of obligations.
This section is maintained by Charlie Hobson and Dharmesh Patel of Playle & Partners LLP.
