The television industry in the UK is made up of a vast network of broadcasters, transmission sites and supporting infrastructure. The transmission sites (see Figure 7 for an example) comprise 80 ‘main’ sites; a further 1,074 high- and low-power ‘relay’ sites are typically owned and operated by Arqiva.
