Tom Shrive is chief product and AI officer at Adiuvo, where he leads the development of the company's AI product suite for the property management sector, including Adi, a white-label AI maintenance assistant, and Eve, an AI lease and document assistant. He also serves as AI chair at the RED Foundation, the not-for-profit alliance working to help the real estate sector benefit from the increased use of data while managing the risks it presents.
Tom founded askporter, a Google-backed AI platform for property and facilities management, which was acquired in 2023 by one of Germany's largest facilities management groups. He has spent his career at the intersection of property management and applied AI, and works with managing agents, landlords and institutional owners on the practical deployment of AI in maintenance, compliance and resident-facing operations.
Tom is a regular speaker on AI in the built environment, including at The Property Institute (TPI) and RICS, and contributes to industry work on data ethics and AI standards through the RED Foundation's working groups.

Adiuvo is the UK's largest provider of out-of-hours property management services, founded in 2007 by two former London property managers and independently owned to this day. Adiuvo supports over one million properties across the UK and Ireland, handling emergency call management, maintenance triage, contractor dispatch and resident support for managing agents, property management companies, housing associations, build-to-rent operators and estate agents. Its teams include TPI-qualified property managers, and it operates Renovo, a 24/7 multi-trade contractor service, alongside a growing suite of AI products built on nearly two decades of hands-on property expertise. Adiuvo's work has been recognised with awards including the News on the Block Professional Services Provider award and the TPI Ace Partner of the Year award.
The RED Foundation (Real Estate Data Foundation) is a not-for-profit initiative set up to ensure the real estate sector benefits from an increased use of data, avoids the risks this presents, and is better placed to serve society. An alliance of sector-wide representative bodies and individuals, it operates through volunteer working groups covering data ethics, data standards, AI, research and academia, and community engagement. Its outputs include a set of six data ethics principles adopted across the sector, a data ethics playbook, and published research on the ethical challenges of AI in the built environment.
