Biography

Siobhan Morrison, PgC LTHE, MRICS, FHEA, is Programme Leader for the BSc Quantity Surveying Programme within the Department of Construction & Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University. Following a successful career in private practice, Siobhan entered academia in 2017. A contributor to academic conferences and prestigious journal publications in the field of construction management and economics, Siobhan has also achieved her Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education where she attained Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has been involved in research projects with ZeroWasteScotland on the True Cost of Construction Waste.

Her primary interest is sharing her passion for construction with the next generation and her research focus lies in the law/contract and procurement of construction projects, as well as how technology can be harnessed to improve the built environment sector and aid the sustainability/environmental agenda.
