Richard Eaton MRICS is employed as a Surveying Quality Manager at e.surv Chartered Surveyors. Richard originally qualified as a carpenter and joiner, before taking on technical and managerial posts in the local authority and housing association sectors where he specialised in the repair, maintenance and refurbishment of owner-occupied and tenanted residential properties. After qualifying as a chartered surveyor in 2003, Richard joined Ekins Chartered Surveyors as a residential surveyor, where he undertook mortgage valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys. In 2007 Richard joined e.surv Chartered Surveyors where he continued with the same residential valuation and surveying work. In 2010 Richard took up the first of a series of technical posts at e.surv’s head office in Kettering, gaining experience in auditing, quality control, technical support and working with lender clients.
