The notice of adjudication must pre-date the issue of the request for appointment to the nominating body. In this case the notice of adjudication was amended after the adjudicator had been appointed. The adjudicator proceeded on the basis of the revised notice of adjudication but the court found that in doing so he had denied himself jurisdiction to decide the dispute.
