One of the issues which arose was whether a court could extend the time limits set out in the Extradition Act 2003 within which an appeal must be brought. It was decided that a court has no power to extend a statutory time limit within which an appeal must be brought. There is a strict limit of 14 days to appeal against a party wall award.
