The lease demised all that:
'piece or parcel of ground with the messuages and buildings erected thereon situate and being on the South side of and Numbered 67, 69, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79 and 81 in Mortimer Street.'
The Court of Appeal decided that it was impossible to argue that that lease did not demise the roof of the buildings and the exterior walls.
