Martin Collingwood has specialised in construction and engineering law both as an in-house legal adviser to major international building, civil engineering and property development groups and in private practice. He has extensive experience of all aspects of building and civil engineering contracts and documentation, both on the non-contentious and contentious sides, from prequalification to project conclusion.
Martin's experience includes drafting and negotiating main and subcontracts on a bespoke basis, together with amendments to all major standard forms of contract. Martin has extensive experience of documentation associated with construction projects. Martin's expertise also includes experience in mainstream and renewable energy.
His experience includes work in the PFI/PPP/BSF/Lift fields, acting for main contractors in relation to projects in health, education and waste management. Martin also presents courses and seminars on construction and related matters, and particular forms of contract, and is a part-time lecturer with the University of Lincoln.
