It is not lawful to require the tenant's guarantor give an AGA separate from the tenant's AGA. The judge also cast doubt on the usual practice of requiring the tenant's guarantor to continue to guarantee the tenant's performance under the AGA, and on the tenant's guarantor giving a completely fresh guarantee even if it wanted to.
