Biography

Lucy Vencatasamy-Jones BSc (Hons) MSc is an experienced researcher from a scientific background. In her role as Research and Development Consultant at Gleeds, she supports colleagues across multiple consultancy disciplines, authoring briefing notes and topical reports, while directly assisting on a number of projects through the provision of specialist research and the dissemination of cost data.

Lucy has a broad understanding of all sectors of the construction industry and a keen interest in current developments and technological advances. In this vein, Lucy co-chairs the East Midlands BIM Regions group which meets bi-monthly and takes an active role in progressing the membership and coverage of the group to further BIM awareness. Lucy is also interested in sustainability issues and in limiting the environmental implications of construction activity.
