Biography

Charles Cowap MBA MRICS FAAV is an RICS-Registered Valuer. Charles qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1983. He now combines a part-time role as Principal Lecturer at Harper Adams University in Shropshire and his own consultancy and training business. He focuses on rural valuations, taxation, rural economics and strategy and the translation of new developments into rural professional practice. This currently includes the rural implications of Brexit and the growing emphasis on natural capital in policymaking. Charles is a regular speaker and presenter at professional conferences and seminars and in recent years has developed and presented a number of rural web classes for RICS Training.
