Summary

The plaintiff and the defendant owned terraced properties. There was an express grant of an easement of support. They entered into an agreement in a deed relating to the carrying out of works of demolition and rebuilding which provided that the defendant granted to the plaintiff 'full right of support for the first building and any other building which may hereafter be erected on the site'.
