Jeff Platt is a Fellow of the RICS with 30 years’ experience of both commercial and residential property management in the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience of residential leasehold property management.
Jeff is Managing Director of Section20 Ltd, a Property Consultancy that advises and assists with all aspects of leasehold property management: practices, procedures, training and section 20 consultation.
He is part-time Chief Executive (and a former Chairman) of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM), and has been heavily involved in developing professional qualifications and training within the leasehold management sector.
Jeff is the lead author of the property management section in the RICS UK Residential Property Standards ('The Blue Book') and the RICS Good Practice Guide on Mixed–Use Property Management. He is a regular Chairman and speaker at Conferences and can provide services as an expert witness.
Jeff is also a Professional Member of the Tribunal Service sitting on First Tier Property Tribunals.
