Biography

Robin Gist was called to the Bar in 2004. He converted to law after completing a Masters in Chemistry at Imperial College, London and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. Robin was awarded the Prince of Wales Scholarship by Grays Inn.

Robin is developing a modern commercial chancery practice, with an emphasis on insolvency and property matters. He has a particular interest in LVTs and the Lands Tribunal.

Robin's experience in land matters includes advising and appearing in matters under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 commercial landlord & tenant matters and all aspects of real property.

He has particular experience in residential landlord and tenant matters, including representing and advising housing associations in relation to nuisance tenants and appropriate remedies, including possession, injunctions and ASBOs
