Biography

Matt Gilks practised as a Barrister in the Government Legal Service, and then as a solicitor at international law firms Eversheds and Herbert Smith. His local government experience includes acting as a principal planning solicitor at the City of London Corporation and London Borough of Hillingdon. Matt's experience in planning and public law is extensive. He specialises in all aspects of planning, regeneration and compulsory purchase law, and works on large public regeneration projects or for clients interested in exploiting the new permitted development rights.
