Biography

Professor James Driscoll is a Chair at the Residential Property Tribunal. For 20 years he was a consultant solicitor with Trowers & Hamlins specialising in housing law. He retired from this position last year.

James has written a number of books and is a regular speaker at industry events in addition to holding several academic positions in England and the US. James is a renowned expert in the field of housing law.

He is a Visiting Professor at the University of Essex and is currently engaged on a new edition of Halsbury's Laws (landlord and tenant volumes). Professor Driscoll is an Accredited Mediator.
