Health and safety compliance is critical for everyone. A working environment that is intolerant of unsafe working practices and non-compliance leads to a culture of safe working, which benefits everyone.

The key legislation relating to health and safety is the Health and Safety at Work etc Act passed in 1974 (frequently abbreviated to the HASAW Act). The Act and associated enabled regulations aim to:
