Mixed-use developments

Mixed-use developments combine commercial and residential premises. They are affected by specialist residential legislation.

This legislation can deprive a property owner of their property or take away their right to manage the property. It can also remove their right to dispose of the property as they desire.

Practices around service charges and forfeiture issues differ when dealing with a mixed-use development compared to a single use of either commercial or residential.
