RICS has now developed a new suite of appointment forms for Building Surveyors, CDM Co-ordinators, Employers Agents, Project Managers, Project Monitors and Quantity Surveyors.
The suite of documents contains a standard form of consultant's appointment, a short form of consultant's appointment, a set of explanatory notes and services for each of the professional disciplines referred to above.
Written in plain English, the forms provide a practical balance of risk between the client and the consultant, with clear, concise and unambiguous default positions in the appointments and co-ordinated multi-disciplinary services.
