Summary
The RICS HomeBuyer Report is the third edition of this successful mid-range report that can only be undertaken under licence by members of RICS. The previous Homebuyer Survey and Valuation (HSV) service will be withdrawn on 31 March 2010. Important changes in this edition include the move to a 'modular' reporting style, the use of condition ratings, and reporting on 'risks' affecting the property, its value, the grounds and people.
The HomeBuyer Report remains a comprehensive service for the prospective residential purchaser, and this section aims to explain the changes, and particularly how to apply condition ratings to the elements of the building and provide the additional advice that puts the condition into perspective.
This section is maintained by Phil Parnham of BlueBox partners and Barry Hall.
